Ranbaxy has signed a deal with the US based Merck for drugs discovery and clinical development in aniti-infective drugs.
The two big companies willwork togetherto develop clinically validated anti-bacterial dn anti-fungal drug candidates. Ranbaxy will carry out developments in the discovery and clinical through Phase IIa clinical trials while Merck will conduct development and commercialization of drug candidates after that.
