Microsoft Deal Collapses With Yahoo

Microsoft Corp CEO Bill Gates announced that it will focus on growing its own advertising and Internet search business. This was announces after when Microsoft withdrew its takeover offer for Yahoo Inc.
The major dominant competitor of Microsoft Corp. in the internet business is Google Inc. Bill Gates has yet not made any strategy to compete with the later. This is a point of speculation for the world who is wondering how Microsoft would enter into this biggest market of internet worth multi billion dollars. Without any established tie-up. Although Microsoft has itself developed its own search engine-ad platform and bought aQuantive, an internet based company, for $6 billion, but its US online operations are losing money. The company has captured only 10% of US internet searches compared to Google’s 58% and yahoo‘s 22%.
